Relation with Iranian Kurdistan Political Parties

KOMALAH currently entertains cordial relations with the KDPI, and generally co-operates with it.

Relation with Political Parties of Iraqi Kurdistan

The general policy of KOMALAH with regard to the political parties of all the parts of Kurdistan, given their different views and political principles, is based on the following approach:

While the powerful states in the countries where Kurds are living are co-operating with each other in a common stance against the Kurdish opposition, and while they develop and put forward common plans, the political parties of all parts of Kurdistan, despite their differences, also have to work together and have a joint policy to neutralise these plans.

KOMALAH has no organising role among the people of Iraqi Kurdistan. It only distributes its publications among them.

KOMALAH has normal relations with the two ruling parties of Kurdistan (the PUK and the PDK), and takes an impartial stance in the disputes between these two parties. It should be pointed out that KOMALAH's centres and camps in Iraqi Kurdistan are situated in those regions which are controlled by the PUK.

KOMALAH's policy vis-à-vis the other Iraqi and Turkish Kurdish political parties follows similar lines as outlined above.
