According to received news two workers in the names of MAHMUD SALEHI and JALAL HOSSAINI were adjudged to prison and banishment by court of SAGHEZ.

On 1^st of MAY, 2004 the above-named workers had been arrested in the course of the workers’ day ceremonies in this city but they were freed as the result of press against the Islamic regime by means of Iranian workers, Iranian left and communist parties abroad also labor unions abroad of IRAN after two weeks.

Issued orders are as follow.

1-   Mr. MAHMUD SALEHI was adjudged to prison for 5 years and banishment for 3 years.

2-   Mr. JALAL HOSSAINI was adjudged to prison for 3 years.

Two more workers in the names of HADI TANOMAND and ESMAEIL KHODKAM were acquitted.

Meanwhile 3 others of labor actives in the names of MOHSEN HAKIMI, MOHAMMAD ABDIPOR and BORHAN DIVARGAR have not received any order on the side of the regime court.

It is necessary to explain that the above-named persons had been arrested on charge of illegal gathering on 1^st of MAY, 2004 in city of SAGHEZ too.

  

SANANDAJ

On the basis of sent news on 7^th of November, 2005 hundreds of cab drivers had protested as compared with the traffic department policies in front of the governor-general’s office of Kurdistan province in city of SANANDAJ. After that act the Iranian government responsible(s) talked to representatives of cab drivers and said that they would take care of cab drivers’ problems.
